Free, family-friendly music festival set to light up Sheridan Avenue with food, vendors, and music

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City’s West Village district will debut a brand-new summer tradition with the launch of the Out West Music Fest, a free, family-friendly celebration of music, local flavor, and community on Friday, July 25, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Spanning several blocks, including the closure of Sheridan and Lee Avenues, the district will come alive with live music performances at more than a dozen venues, an outdoor market with over 30 local vendors, and a main stage featuring regional and local acts.

Headlining the Main Stage is Tulsa-based King Cabbage Brass Band, known for their high-energy blend of funk, jazz, and brass. The stage opens with a performance by local favorite Cowboy Junior, setting the tone for a full evening of music that extends throughout the district.

As part of the festival’s theme, several participating venues will highlight a different American music city through curated décor, sound, and ambiance. Attendees can experience a musical journey inspired by the indie edge of Austin, the soulful grooves of San Francisco, and the Southwestern rhythms of Santa Fe, all within walking distance.
