The Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau (OKC CVB) welcomes three new members to the travel and tourism team. OKC CVB’s staff is expanding due to the increase in Oklahoma City’s tourism market.
Lindsay Vidrine, the new Vice President of Destination Marketing, joined the team on Monday, January 14. Prior to leading the Marketing and Communications Division for the Bureau, Vidrine was the Senior Director of Performance and Growth at Saxum. Vidrine also spent five years at the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department as Director of Travel Communications and Publications.
The CVB hired Communications Coordinator Meg Cathey, a recent graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma. Before joining the CVB, Cathey interned as an Event Planner at the Arts Council OKC and was active in student-led media projects throughout her time at UCO.
Lastly, Kellie Myers joined the OKC CVB as the new Convention Services and Housing Manager. Myers oversees the housing reservation system for various OKC events. Myers previously interned for the Bureau, assisting with the National Baptist Convention in June 2018. Myers is a recent graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma.
“The CVB is thrilled to expand the travel and tourism team with these new additions, said OKC CVB President Mike Carrier. The experience and knowledge each bring to our team is exciting during our city’s time of growth.”
