OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Historical Society will hold another #ExploreOHS Travel Contest from Friday, March 1, through Sunday, March 31. During these dates, participants will travel to OHS museums and historic sites across the state to see who can visit the most sites in one month. The contest is open to the public. All entries must be posted on social media using the #ExploreOHS hashtag.

 

The person or group who visits the largest number of OHS sites during the month of March will win a prize pack of OHS swag and their choice of one of these options:

 

  • Behind-the-scenes tour (for up to six people) of the Oklahoma History Center Museum in Oklahoma City or the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center in Enid
  • Ride on a parade float through downtown Fort Gibson with staff from the Fort Gibson Historic Site on April 20
