Supervised evening for ages 6-12 combines hands-on science, pizza, and after-hours museum access
OKLAHOMA CITY, July 9, 2026 — Parents can enjoy an evening out while their children experience an exciting night of science, discovery, and exploration during Parents' Night Out at Science Museum Oklahoma on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Designed for children ages 6 to 12, Parents' Night Out offers a supervised, camp-style evening led by Science Museum Oklahoma's certified educators. Kids will enjoy exclusive after-hours access to museum exhibits, interactive science demonstrations and activities, pizza and snacks, and a safe, engaging environment created by the same team behind the museum's award-winning camp programs.
"Parents' Night Out gives families the best of both worlds," said Sherry Marshall, John E. Kirkpatrick President and CEO of Science Museum Oklahoma. "It isn’t always easy to find childcare for a night off. Parents can enjoy time to themselves while children spend the evening exploring, creating, and discovering alongside educators who make learning exciting through hands-on experiences."
Parents' Night Out is open to children ages 6 to 12. Admission is $50 for members and $60 for non-members. Advance registration is required and closes on Aug. 17, 2026.
