OKLAHOMA CITY (September 6, 2024) – RIVERSPORT Foundation has appointed four community leaders to its board of directors. Amy Janes, David Huslig, Nova Fleske and Sarah Delaney, all of Oklahoma City, are beginning three-year terms on the nonprofit organization’s board.
“We are excited about the impact these new members will have on our already dynamic board,” said board chair Gene Hopper. “RIVERSPORT has already had tremendous positive impact on our city with the Boathouse District and the programming and events we offer, and we’re looking forward to even more positive momentum in the coming years.”
RIVERSPORT has developed and operates Oklahoma City’s Boathouse District, a $100M+ venue and community organization offering outdoor sports and recreation with a focus on rowing and paddlesports. It is a US Olympic and Paralympic Training Site and in June, it was announced that RIVERSPORT’s whitewater center would be a venue for the LA28 Olympic Games.

Amy Janes is an Emmy-winning documentary series editor and a founder of the Filmmakers Ranch (formerly Green Pastures Studio), the first motion picture sound stage in Oklahoma City.

“I appreciate the honor to work with such a talented group and I look forward to serving with each of you towards promoting RIVERSPORT becoming a significant impact in both our local community and throughout all water sport athletes,” Huslig said.
Nova Fleske is CEO of Fleske Commercial Group and owner, The Treasury Coworking and Event Center.
“I am thrilled to join the board of RIVERSPORT,” Fleske said. “This organization has played a pivotal role in transforming our community and I am excited to contribute to its continued success and to help further its mission of enriching the lives of people through rowing and paddlesports.”
Sarah Delaney serves as Financial Performance Manager for the Chickasaw Nation Department of Commerce.
“I look forward to serving on the RIVERSPORT Board of Directors,” Delaney said. “I am honored to serve in such a capacity and look forward to the impact we as a Board will make, not only for the organization, but the Oklahoma City community as a whole, during this exciting time for our city and state.”
