OKLAHOMA CITY, OK. (January 29, 2025) – RIVERSPORT is offering a unique volunteer opportunity for metro area residents during the upcoming ICF World Ranking event happening March 28-30 on RIVERSPORT Rapids, Oklahoma City’s whitewater canoe slalom and kayak cross course.  

The event will be the first time many paddlers from across North and South America will experience the canoe slalom and kayak cross course which has been announced as a venue for the LA28 Olympic Games, pending approval by the Los Angeles City Council.  

 
Volunteer roles include race operations, athlete hospitality, course preparation, and event logistics. No experience is required, and training will be provided. 

Volunteers will also have the opportunity to work at the 2026 World Championships. The 2026 event will attract athletes from over 60 countries and is anticipated to be the test event for the 2028 Olympic Games.  RIVERSPORT OKC, in partnership with the American Canoe Association, is hosting the 2025 ICF Spring World Ranking Series for Canoe Slalom and Kayak Cross, March 28-30, 2025, and is seeking volunteers to support the event.
