OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (October 30, 2024) – Metro-area middle and high school teams will compete in RIVERSPORT’s Youth Rowing League Fall Championships on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at the Oklahoma River in the Boathouse District. 14 teams have been practicing for 12 weeks leading up to the championship event. 

 
Racing starts at 4 p.m. and continues into the evening with teams competing under the lights on a 500-meter course. The event will conclude with an awards ceremony at 8:30 p.m. 

 
The Youth Rowing League offers students from Title 1 schools and local nonprofits the opportunity to row at no cost, thanks to grants and sponsorships from companies including CompSource Mutual Insurance Co., Mercy, Love’s Travel Stops, Cox Communications, Bank of Oklahoma and Devon Energy.

  • St. John Bosco Institute 
  • Mustang Area Rowing Club High School 
  • Mustang Area Rowing Club Middle School
