OKLAHOMA CITY (July 15) – RowFest, a groundbreaking national rowing event, is set to create a significant economic impact in Oklahoma City. Combining two of USRowing's largest national championships, RowFest is anticipated to generate at least $2.5 million for the local community.
“We're excited about this first-of-its-kind national event, which we anticipate will generate at least $2.5 million in economic impact for our community,” said Zac Craig, president of Visit Oklahoma City. “We’re proud to welcome athletes and fans to OKC.”

“We’re thrilled to partner with RIVERSPORT and OKC for our inaugural RowFest,” said Rich Cacioppo, executive director at USRowing. “Both the venue and the city help us move closer to our vision for the future of rowing competition and celebration.”
RIVERSPORT OKC’s executive director, Mike Knopp, highlighted the venue’s unique features. “For the past 20 years, we have built a world-class rowing and water sports venue in America’s heartland.
