OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Science Museum Oklahoma invites guests 21 and older to chart a course for curiosity during SMO21+: SEAS The Night on Friday, June 26, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. VIP guests receive early entry beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The adults-only evening will combine after-hours museum exploration with ocean-inspired activities, themed experiences, live shows, cocktails/mocktails, and access to the museum’s exhibits, including the newly re-imagined Oceanarium exhibit which re-opens in June.
The expanded Oceanarium explores the science of reefs and ecosystems while highlighting the beauty and community of life beneath the ocean’s surface. The exhibit’s reopening coincides with SEAS The Night, creating an evening focused on both the wonders we know about the ocean life and the discoveries still waiting deep below the waves.
Tickets for SMO21+: SEAS The Night start at $35 and increase in price at the door. Many SMO21+ events sell out in advance, and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets early.
“The ocean is the earth’s largest habitat, yet we know more about the surface of the moon than we do the bottom of the ocean. It holds millions of species we have yet to discover” said Sherry Marshall, John E. Kirkpatrick President and CEO. “There is something exciting about exploring both what we already understand and what remains unknown. SMO21: SEAS The Night makes waves of fun and learning all around life under the sea.”
In addition to themed activities throughout the museum, guests can explore more than 500 exhibits without kids, experience Science Live programming, stroll through the Gardens, and enjoy a special show in the Love’s Planetarium.
VIP tickets include early entry, access to a private lounge, and a free signature cocktail.
