‘Tis the season for gift giving, and Science Museum Oklahoma has a variety of creative gift options for your entire family that are sure to please while helping you stay safe and stress-free this holiday season!

The museum’s Science Shop has a wide assortment of science and Oklahoma-themed gifts for all ages and price ranges. With a selection ranging from toys, apparel, sustainable gifts, and science kits to unique pieces of jewelry that are sure to bring a smile this season, the museum has something for everyone. The museum staff has carefully curated a selection which guarantees one-stop shopping to finish even the finickiest gift list. Want a little bit of everything? The Science Shop will create custom gift baskets!

As always, safety is a top priority. The museum has taken special precautions such as limiting capacity in the Science Shop, requiring masks and increased sanitation to ensure every shopping experience is as safe as it is fun.

All sales from the museum’s shop support the operating costs of the museum.

Free Concierge Service

From now until December 23rd, Science Museum Oklahoma is giving Santa a helping hand with a free concierge shopping service. Here's how it works:   

  • Call 405-602-3690 or email jfriend@sciencemuseumok.org to schedule a 30-minute Zoom call between the hours of 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Saturday.
  • During the discussion, the concierge will ask about the gift recipients to tailor gifts to match their taste.
  • On Zoom, the concierge guide will walk through the store, showing you what we've selected for everyone on your list.

With free gift wrapping and curbside pickup available, your holiday shopping experience will be stress-free!

 

Members Only Shopping Night
Museum members get the VIP treatment Thursday, December 3, 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

This special night is open only to members and features special discounts, treats and limited capacity to provide a safe, personalized shopping experience. Shop local and enjoy:

  • Discount increases to 25% (valid during the event only) 
  • Free hot apple cider and donut holes from Pavlov's Café
  • Free activity for children in the lobby
  • One lucky member will also leave with a door prize!

OKC Culture Box

This holiday season, how about something completely different? Science Museum Oklahoma partnered with the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Oklahoma Contemporary, Oklahoma History Center, Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, Oklahoma City Museum of Art, and Oklahoma City Zoo to create the OKC Culture Box. Institutions provided tickets and carefully curated items to reflect their respective missions and offer a taste of their unique cultures. The OKC Culture Box showcases the diverse experiences that enrich the quality of life every day in Oklahoma City. The OKC Culture Box may only be purchased at participating institutions and limited quantities are available. The institution from which the box is purchased retains 100% of the price to support operating costs.
