Popular series of evening events for adults 21+ lets guests discover wildlife, cocktails, food, and entertainment while supporting the Zoo’s conservation programs.

Oklahoma City’s most anticipated 21-and-older event series, Sip and Stroll, is back for a seventh year with events taking place on six Friday nights in May and June at the OKC Zoo. Grown-up explorers will have the entire Zoo to themselves for the evening with all wildlife available to discover and a world of food and beverage options to enjoy. Sip and Stroll tickets plus food and drink packages are on sale now at www.okczoo.org/sipandstroll.

“We are excited to bring back Sip and Stroll for another summer season,” said Jenna Dodson, OKC Zoo’s Director of Events and Sales. “Whether you are a foodie wanting to try this year’s featured drink flavors and bites or just wanting to explore the Zoo without any kids, this year’s events are the perfect outings for couples and friends.”

Sip and Stroll features curated specialty cocktails and a delicious menu of food items throughout the Zoo. Guests will have opportunities for up close animal experiences, live entertainment, and participate in a new interactive, digitally guided Conservation Quest for a chance to win behind-the-scenes experiences with some the Zoo’s most iconic animals.

This year’s dates are May 8, 15, 22 and June 12, 19, and 26 from 6 to 10 p.m. The June 19 event will celebrate PRIDE and feature a community station with representatives from LGBTQIA2S+ organizations, and a PRIDE performance at the Lotus Pavilion.

General admission for Sip and Stroll is $20 per person for ZOOfriends members and $25 per person for nonmembers with $2 of every ticket sold going to the OKC Zoo’s conservation program, Round Up for Conservation. This program makes it possible for the OKC Zoo to partner with conservation programs in Oklahoma and around the world, including The Nature Conservancy (Oklahoma), Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, the Sri Lanka Elephant Project, the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in Rwanda, and the Foundation for the Conservation of Endangered Species (FUNDESGUA) of Guatemala. Since its inception in 2011, Round Up for Conservation at the OKC Zoo has raised more than $1,000,000.

Admission includes entry to Sip and Stroll and access to special experiences and entertainment scheduled for each event night, an elephant presentation, the Children’s Zoo Barnyard presented by Primrose Schools, and the Endangered Species Carousel.

Sip and Stroll is a truly Zoo-wide event with seven large bar stations situated throughout the Zoo’s expansive grounds serving signature cocktails and mocktails as well as beer and wine. Specialty cocktails include Strawberry Mint Mojito, Mango Margarita, and Wild Berry Sour, to name a few. There will be delicious bites for sale, including Thai peanut veggie sliders, buffalo chicken skewers, honey sesame wings, Chicago-style hot dogs, and more. Canopy Restaurant will also be open to sell pizza by the slice, jalapeno poppers, and chicken parmesan sliders. Save money by buying food and drink packages in advance! The combination food and beverage package costs $55 in advance or $64 when purchased at the Zoo on the day of the event. Food-only packages are $22 in advance or $26 on-site. Beverage-only packages are $35 in advance or $39 on-site. Reserve your tickets now before they sell out at www.okczoo.org/sipandstroll.
