Spring break event features free admission, hands-on art making, Kid Flicks screenings and gallery activities

 

WHEN: March 15, 12-5 p.m. 

 

WHERE: Oklahoma City Museum of Art, 415 Couch Dr., Oklahoma City, OK 73102

 

WHO: Activities are appropriate for all ages and no reservations are required. 

 

WHAT: SONIC Free Family Day features free admission to all exhibitions on view, including "Dale Chihuly: Magic & Light" and the special exhibition "Renewing the American Spirit: The Art of the Great Depression." 

 

Scheduled Activities

  • Screenings of the New York International Children’s Film Festival Kid Flicks at 1 p.m. & 3 p.m.

 

Ongoing activities

  • Design Challenge: Creature Creations in the Classrooms
  • Photo opportunities with Sonic Mascots
  • Pop-Up Library with the Metropolitan Library System
  • Paper Crowns with MetroFamily Magazine
  • Wells Fargo Shape & Color Corner and Portrait Corner

 

PHOTOS/INTERVIEWS: Opportunities will be available to photograph visitors and to interview Museum staff.
