Southwest Airlines announced today that it will begin daily nonstop service to Nashville, Tennessee beginning January 6, 2020.  Southwest has been testing the market since October 2018 with Sunday only service.

Southwest also announced that it will be adding an additional daily flight to Houston Hobby (HOU) and an additional daily flight to Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX).  The airline will be suspending daily service to Dallas Love Field (DAL).

The changes will allow better connectivity for Oklahoma City travelers to the Southwest network, including connections to the carrier’s international destinations.

Southwest has made significant investments in Oklahoma City in the last year with the addition of two new markets, Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA) and Nashville (BNA).
