As part of its annual BANJO FEST weekend, the American Banjo Museum located in downtown OKC is excited to announce its third annual BRICKTOWN BANJO BASH.  This year’s event will feature multiple stages with musicians ranging from jazz to bluegrass and everything in-between! This year’s festival takes place on multiple stages around the Bricktown Area including:  The American Banjo Museum’s event room, outdoor courtyard as well as Bourbon Street Café (100 E California Ave) and The Joinery (121 E Sheridan Ave. OKC).

Bricktown Banjo Bash artists include Hall of Fame inductees Lee Floyd III, Randy Morris, Gary Davis and Johnny Baier along with an incredible array of internationally known banjo artists including Sean Moyses, Ron Hinkle, Larry Sledge, Tyler Jackson, Lucas Ross and many others.

In addition to the BRICKTOWN BANJO BASH, this year’s BANJO FEST weekend will include induction of this year’s class of the AMERICAN BANJO MUSEUM HALL OF FAME:  Buck Trent, Kurt Abell, Grandpa Jones, Akira Tsumura and Norbert Pietsch.  Held at the top of the Devon Tower on Friday, October 13th at 6PM, the formal event recognizes banjo’s best in a gala evening of music and presentations honoring the inductees. BANJO FEST festivities will wrap up Saturday night with a Shakey's Pizza Parlor style sing-along and banjo jam session

Note: both Friday’s Hall of Fame celebration and the Saturday Night’s Pizza Parlor Sing-Along are ticketed events.
