OKLAHOMA CITY (April 14, 2026) – The Kentucky Club at Carletti’s will host its first ever Kentucky Derby celebration and watch party from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 2 at 1226 NE 63rd St. in Oklahoma City’s Adventure District.

Regular lunch and dinner services will be closed for the ticketed, RSVP-only event, featuring a live broadcast of the Derby on three indoor screens in a festival atmosphere with live music by internationally acclaimed fiddle player Kyle Dillingham.

“We are incredibly excited to bring The Kentucky Club back to its former glory in time for Derby Week this year,” said Josh Laudan, general manager for The Kentucky Club at Carletti’s. “This picturesque location has a long, storied history with close ties to the Oklahoma horse racing industry. We will honor that history every year by providing a refined experience where guests can dress to impress, surrounded by roses, enjoying mint juleps and celebrating what’s known as the most exciting two minutes in sports.”

There will be an open buffet with items including onion burger sliders, mini meatballs, roasted gardettos, and arancini, and roaming food stations serving Derby classics including bacon-wrapped hotdogs with bourbon baked beans, gelato, and sweet and savory popcorn.

Three julep variations will be created for the day (with specials running before and after the event), a TKC flower wall and a photo booth for Instagram-worthy content opportunities, and prizes for the best Derby hat for the ladies, and for best bowtie for the gentlemen.

Attendees will also be able to place “bets” on a live stick-horse race up the south hill benefiting Tenaciously Teal, an Oklahoma City-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting cancer fighters and their families throughout cancer treatment.

Tickets are $85 and space is limited. Admission and food are included in the ticket price. RSVP online at Resy.

According to Laudan, this event marks the official beginning of summer cocktail season, and The Kentucky Club will be open late on Saturday nights.
