The decor will align with holiday themes, rooted in black as a neutral accent in the space. LMason Events is known for producing the annual Langston University President’s Scholarship Gala and other signature events for clients such as Variety Care, Millwood Public Schools, the Uptown 23rd District, and countless other metro events and weddings. NExus Creative opened for events in Fall 2024, and will celebrate its official Grand Opening on January 18.
"The Little Black Chapel has been living in my heart and head for over a decade,” Mason said. “As an event planner, I've always believed that celebrating life's moments shouldn't be limited by venue, tradition, or financial status. When I first started dreaming up this concept, I knew I needed something that would bring together elegance, intimacy, and that perfect touch of spontaneity. Now seeing it come to life – it's everything I imagined and more. This is about creating those unforgettable moments in a space that feels both luxurious and wonderfully intimate.”
Annually, The Little Black Chapel will additionally be open for booking over Independence Day Weekend (July 4-6, 2025) and New Year’s Eve and Day (December 31, 2025 - January 1, 2026) moving forward,so couples can plan ahead for upcoming festive seasons.
*As a NExus Creative Special Grand Opening Offer: LBC Weddings booked by January 18 will receive complimentary extras, including a beautiful bridal bouquet and an 8-inch wedding cake to commemorate the inaugural weekend.
