This small but mighty district on the edge of downtown packs a punch. In only five square blocks, visitors to the West Village can taste one of the best burgers in the US, beer hop between three different breweries, craft a custom bracelet, candle or terrarium and so much more! Find out where to do all this and more below.

What to Do

Woman walking in Social Club gift boutique

Sailor & the Dock, a local market, bar, arts and events venue in an urban warehouse on Sheridan, needs to be your first stop. Grab a coffee from Hunny & Honey and check out the diverse set of vendors. They’ve got a bookstore, a sustainable market, a clothing boutique and more.

Among the vendors at Sailor & the Dock is The Candle Bar. Here you can create a personalized candle with a variety of fragrances and vessels, using all-natural ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship all guided by an instructor. They even offer candle refill services if you burn through the candle, which you probably will!

At Flashback RetroPub, just down the street, relive the past with classic arcade games in a laid-back atmosphere. The best part – the games are always set on free play, giving your wallet more flexibility to partake in craft beers from local and regional breweries, along with signature cocktails and shots inspired by '80s icons.

City and Stars, an adorable clothing boutique, has recently added a new component to their store that has people flocking through their doors. Now the newest permanent jewelry studio and biggest charm bar in OKC, visitors can either book ahead or walk in to create a custom piece of jewelry. Find more shopping at The Social Club. Part salon and part boutique – they've curated an array of home goods, self-care items, cards and trinkets.

Adjacent to Stitch Cafe is the Plant Shoppe. Although they are not open during the week, Plant Shoppe offers events and workshops where you can pot a new plant or make an arrangement with guidance available from their knowledgeable staff.

What to Eat & Drink

Bar Arbolada's single or double cheeseburgers are exactly what a burger should be. So good, in facts that Food Network star Alton Brown called it “the best double cheeseburger in America.” The edges are crispy and caramelized. We also would like to point out that they serve pimento cheese fries. Two things that are so perfect on their own that we can barely handle them being served together.

Part music venue and part restaurant, The Jones Assembly is a bit of a hub for activity amongst the downtown crowd. With two unique patio experiences, two bars, wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted cocktails and a happening music scene, Jones doesn’t disappoint.

If drinking beer instead of fancy cocktails is more your style, hop between Angry Scotsman, Core4 Brewing, and Fair-Weather Friend Brewery for a triple brew bonanza, all within walking distance from each other.

And if you are looking for cozy vibes with which to end the night, look no further than The Study, an intimate and unpretentious wine bar. They’ve got books to read, games to play and wine to drink. Cozy vibes also radiate from Perets Dessert & Coffee Bar, a late-night coffee and dessert bar tucked away in the Paramount Building on W. Sheridan. The Sopapilla Affogato is a must.
