Sometimes, a galaxy far far away is closer than you think. At GalaxyCon in Oklahoma City, taking place May 22 - 24 at the Oklahoma City Convention Center, sci-fi and fantasy comes to life through cosplaying events, fan groups, gaming tables, character meet-and-greets, anime panels, after-dark parties and more. From Star Wars to Superman, GalaxyCon is bringing the action to downtown OKC. Here’s your guide to GalaxyCon 2026, including what to do — and where to eat — nearby.
GalaxyCon OKC
Described as a three-day “Festival of Fandom,” GalaxyCon brings cosplayers and characters together from comic books, television, anime, gaming and film. Events run the gamut, from meet-and-greets with iconic characters, to Q&As, photo-ops, book signings, cosplay competitions, animal panels and screenings and themed late-night dance parties for adults.
There’s a family zone for kids, complete with sensory play and craft-making, along with a “Galactic Arcade,” a Tabletop Gaming Room and even Tattoo Row, where artists offer an array of GalaxyCon-inspired ink. The main Exhibit Hall, meanwhile, is stocked with art, accessories and decor.
One of the main attractions at GalaxyCon is the guest list. Celebrities, voice actors, creators and wrestlers will be in attendance — from Star Wars to the Marvel universe — all weekend long, offering autographs, photos, panels, Q&As and more. Some of the guests include Hayden Christensen (aka Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader), Paul Bettany (aka Marvel’s Vision), Superman’s Brandon Routh and legendary actor Danny Glover, along with voice actors like Disney’s Bill Farmer (aka Goofy), Courtney Lin (aka Princess Peach in Mario Kart World) and Anjali Kunapaneni (aka Roy in Pokémon Horizons). These are joined by a variety of comic book creators, entertainers, cosplay guests and pro wrestler Gangrel.
Tickets are available in different tiers, from three-day VIP packages to two-day passes, single-day tickets and kids' admission. There are also separate tickets for special events, such as a live commentary screening of Muppet Treasure Island with the voice of Kermit the Frog, and a burlesque figure drawing workshop. Photo-ops and autographs are also sold separately during designated time slots.
