On Saturday, June 11, Exhibit C will host Chickasaw and Ponca artist Brent Greenwood; Sauk, Fox and Tonkawa artist April Holder; and Oneida, Oglala, Lakota and Luiseno artist Hoka Skenandore for a live painting event. Greenwood, Holder and Skenandore will each be provided blank canvases and two hours to create one of their unique paintings in front of a live audience. In addition to the live paining event, DJ Micah Wesley, also known as DJ WereWulf will be inspiring the crowd and the artists through mixed music.
Greenwood, Holder and Skenandore are all painters who work primarily in acrylics. Greenwood uses mixed-media, blending tribal history and design elements in a contemporary fashion. Skenandore has been known to use aerosol in his mural works and Holder uses variations of mixed-media as well.

About Exhibit C
Exhibit C in Bricktown is a Native American art gallery and cultural experience. Exhibit C’s art gallery displays works of several artists from the Chickasaw and southeastern tribes and continues the vision of raising awareness of the many cultural and entertainment experiences in Oklahoma set forth by Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby. Exhibit C is open daily from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. at 1 E. Sheridan, Bricktown. All items located in the Exhibit C art gallery and retail space are for purchase.
