    Oklahoma Regatta Festival

The 2020 Oklahoma Regatta Festival is going VIRTUAL! Tune in October 3, 2020 to catch all of the racing action and then participate in Outdoor October with RIVERSPORT Rapids & Adventures. Oklahoma City's Head of the Oklahoma Regatta was selected by U.S. Rowing as one of the nation's five largest regattas to participate in U.S. Rowing Virtual Fall, an alternative to in-person racing to keep competition flowing. The virtual race experience will recreate the experience of racing on the Oklahoma River with advanced graphics, the ability to have a coxswain steering the boat, multiple race views, officiating and live time splits.

    New in 2020

To keep the fun of this year's Regatta Festival Rolling, RIVERSPORT Rapids & Adventures is bringing Outdoor October to the Boathouse District. Each Saturday in October from 1- a.m. to 8 p.m., the district will feature outdoor, socially-distanced events for all to enjoy.

There will also be a dog yoga class, an adoption event, stand-up paddle boarding with your pup, an off-leash dog park area, beer tasting provided by Coop Ale Works and live music.
    • Saturday, Oct. 10 - Oktoberfest comes to the Boathouse District! Break out your lederhosen for a celebration of famous German beers, brats, pork chops, potato salad, sauerkraut and more. Plus, enjoy live "oompah" music during the celebration!
    • Saturday, Oct. 17 - Explore OKC's trails on two wheels! Begin the day with a 15-mile guided group bike ride and then stay for a free bike maintenance clinic. Then, join Olympic gold medalist Bart Conner for a showing of "Rad," the 1986 BMX movie.
    • Saturday, Oct. 24 - Thrive outside with a day of geocached treasure hunts and free outdoor clinics for those interested in learning about camping, hiking and outdoor cooking. Learn how to make a campfire, pitch a ten, cook in a cast-iron skillet over an open fire and more!
