Oklahoma State Fair
If you find yourself in Oklahoma City in September, the Oklahoma State Fair is a must-do (and must-eat) event. From family entertainment, horse shows and educational exhibits to all the delicious fried treats in between, enjoy this "best of the best" showcase of our state's agriculture, manufacturing and commerce at the OKC Fairgrounds.

Dates: September 16-26, 2021
Location: OKC Fairgrounds
Tickets: Prior to Opening Day, visitors can save when they purchase outside gate admission tickets at the State Fair Box Office, online or by calling 405-948-6800.
- Adults (ages 12+): $8
- Children (ages 6-11): $4
- Season Passes: $25 (not available at OnCue and MidFirst Banking Centers)
During the fair, outside gate admission tickets are available at ticket booths outside of each gate.

2021 State Fair New Attractions
Disney On Ice – Believing is just the beginning at Disney On Ice presents Dream Big. Miguel aspires to be a musician and journeys through the Land of the Dead to unlock his family’s history. Moana and Maui bravely restore the stolen heart of Te Fiti, Anna and Elsa save their kingdom and the Disney Princesses inspire with stories of strength, determination, and kindness.
GASCAR – Located in the Centennial Plaza, fairgoers can enjoy the Great American Speedway Crazy Animal Races. This daily show will feature multiple animal species competing to find out which will reign supreme. Goat, sheep, chickens, pigs and other surprise animals wear racing silks as they hoof and waddle their way around the track.
North American Peruvian Horse Association US National Show – This competition features the smoothest horse in the world, the Peruvian horse. Known as a ground-eating, high-stepping descendant of the first horses ever brought to the Americas, Peruvian horses are one of the oldest and rarest breeds in the new world. Their biggest event of the year will take place in the Performance Arena, September 24 – 26.
Kids Can Cook! – Can your kid follow directions? Do they love being in the kitchen? Combine these two factors and let them take a chance to learn how to cook. Ms. Diane will call up to 10 kids from ages 5 to 18 to participate in this 30-minute show and make some amazing and fun recipes. Catch this interactive show daily in the Bennett Event Center.
Dusti Crane-Dickerson, Barefoot Roman & Trick Rider – From Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede to some of the best rodeos in the world, Dusti Crain-Dickerson has wowed crowds with her superb horsemanship and daring acts. Fans can enjoy her performances September 16 – 22 during the Wild West Showcase at the Oklahoma Frontier Experience.
Auto Show Ride Along – Taking place in the Auto Show Pavilion, fairgoers can hop into a variety of different cars, with a special focus on the future of electric cars, and experience what incredible technological advancements that manufacturers are bringing to the auto world.
NMDA National Championship Miniature Donkey Show – Miniature donkeys and their handlers will venture to the Oklahoma State Fair to exhibit their skills in a variety of disciplines and events. From jumping to pleasure driving, there will be plenty to see during this competition, taking place in the West Covered Arena, September 25 – 26
Great American Pig Races – Audiences will be delighted by the speed and dedication that these pigs exhibit as they compete for a cookie waiting for them at the finish line. Fairgoers can find the show daily in the Centennial Plaza.
Rodear Cattle Dog Competition – Rodear is a point and time event wherein the stock savvy and skill of the dog, rider and horse are put to the test. The competition centers around maneuvering a small group of cattle through several obstacles in a set amount of time. The Rodear Cattle Dog Competition is September 21 – 22 in the Performance Arena.
Andy Stewart, Pro Rodeo Announcer – Bringing energy and entertainment, Stewart is recognized as one of the best in the business. As a winner of several PRCA awards and the voice of the National Finals Rodeo, Andy Stewart guarantees crowds are on the edge of their seats and enjoy the rodeo experience to the fullest. Deep Fried Cookie Dough Sundae: Created by 2019’s FAIRest of Them All winner Original Minneapple Pie, this sweet treat is guaranteed to be a Fair favorite. This dessert is made of homemade cookie dough and ice cream and brings together an amazing combination of hot and cold.
Caramel Apple Delight: Found at Amish Annie, this original large glazed donut is filled with homemade whipped cream, sprinkled with fresh apple slices and a cinnamon oat crumble, and topped with a caramel sauce drizzle.
Gelato Nachos: Brought to the Fair courtesy of a new vendor, Funky Flamingo, this dessert is made up of homemade stroopwafel chips, three flavors of gelato, your choice of two dessert sauces and three candy toppings, all topped with whipped cream.
Cotton Candy Cookie Dough Crunch On-A-Stick: Also from Funky Flamingo, this creation is comprised of homemade cookie dough on-a-stick, dipped in a cotton candy confetti crunch, and topped with whipped cream.
Elk Sausage Corn Dog: Try out this rustic take on a Fair classic at the Pioneer Wagon
Rattlesnake Sausage Corn Dog: For the braver Fair foodies, the Pioneer Wagon is frying up corndogs filled with actual rattlesnake sausage.
Fruity Pebble Donut: Also found at Amish Annie, don’t miss this sweet, soft, and crunchy donut.
DoughBoy Sandwich: DoughBoys will be serving up this free form soft glazed bun, sliced in half and stuffed with your favorite flavor of ice cream, topped with your favorite syrup and a cream cheese frosting.
Giant S’more On-A-Stick Sampler: This sampler from A Latte Love includes an original chocolate and graham cracker s’more, a cookies-n-cream s’more topped with white chocolate and Oreos, and their salted caramel s’more topped with caramel and pretzels.
Falcone’s Pizza by the Slice: Enjoy classic pizza by the slice, brought to the Fair by Falcone’s Pizzeria Food Truck.
Cannoli: Also from Falcone’s, fairgoers can enjoy this classic Italian dessert while strolling the Fairgrounds.
Deep-Fried Spaghetti with Meatballs: A Fair-style twist on a classic dish, catch this creation at Falcone’s Pizzeria Food Truck.
Gilty Mac and Cheese: A homestyle, creamy macaroni and cheese topped with juicy pulled pork and drizzled in barbeque sauce, located at the Gilty Pleasure booth.
Loaded Gilty Mac: Also found at Gilty Pleasure, this delightful Gilty Mac and Cheese comes with a twist! This spicey version features grilled jalapeños, diced hot links, and caramelized onions.
Peaches and Cream Pie: Another creation by Gilty Pleasure, this light summer treat pairs perfectly with their Sweet Peach Tea. It's a rich and creamy blend of deliciousness.
Apple Fries: Fairgoers can visit Granny’s to try out these lightly battered apple slices which are deep-fried and sprinkled with cinnamon & sugar.
Dragon Fruit Lemonade: Gringo’s is serving up this new specialty drink that is sure to be a fan favorite.
Ghost Pepper Tater Tots: Found at Project KRAVE, those who appreciate spice are invited to try these extremely hot tots.
Handmade Ice Cream Sandwiches: Available in several signature flavors such as mint double chocolate chip, s’more and gluten free snickerdoodle, visitors to the Fair can cool down with these sweet treats from Thelma’s Handmade Ice Cream Sandwiches.
