OKLAHOMA CITY (April 21, 2025) — RIVERSPORT will open for the 2025 season on Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, offering a full weekend of outdoor adventure for families, friends and outdoor enthusiasts. 

RIVERSPORT will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days with activities including whitewater rafting, surfing, high-speed slides, climbing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. The weekend marks the opening of the summer season. RIVERSPORT will be open weekends, April 26 to May 25, and will open daily beginning on Memorial Day.  

RIVERSPORT is marking the opening weekend with 2025 Thrive Outside Day event at its Trailhead Bike Park. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the bike park and will offer free access to flow trails, pump tracks, jump lines and skills zones. GT Jorgito, a GT Bicycles ambassador and BMX racer, will host an introductory pump track session at 12 p.m. Local cycling groups including the Oklahoma Bike Society and the Oklahoma Mountain Bike Association will be on site for those interested in getting more involved in the sport. The Wheelhouse Café will be open with food and drinks available. 

The Thrive Outside event is supported by the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust and the Outdoor Foundation. 

Access to the bike park is free. RIVERSPORT offers both day passes and season memberships for those wanting to participate in adventure sports. 2025 season memberships are available at a special early season price of $99 for a limited time.
